The School Day

Arrival at School in the morning 

There is access to the school from 8:35 am and children are expected to be in class at 8:40 am; a variety of activities or Early Morning Work is provided for the children to complete during this time. Your child should arrive in the playground via the school drive off the High Street from 8.35 am. Children booked into Get up and Go Club (Breakfast Club) may arrive from 7.45 am and also use the high street entrance. Children attending breakfast club should walk across to the school office in the infant building and go down to our Nurture room.

Children arriving after 8.50 am are late to school. Parents of children arriving after this time need to sign the electronic register in the school foyer, giving the reason for why they are late. 

Collection from School in the afternoon 

School finishes at 3:10pm. Children are collected from their class teachers from the school playgrounds. 

The playground gate closes at 8.45 am and opens again at 3.05 pm.  If you are late or need to come to school during the school day, please come via the school drive to the side gate.

We achieve the 32.5 hours per week through our compulsory school times of 8:40am to 3:10pm.
